Black Christmas

Contributed by pander on Wednesday, 8th December 2004 @ 05:15:13 AM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

As Christmas time comes
The world really hums
Most peole are jolly and bright
But deep in my heart
I am being torn apart
In darkness and can't see the light

It's to do with a girl
Who took over my world
Who I love more than words can explain
But it's easy to see
That she doesn't love me
And it's causing me oh so much pain

She's tried to be nice
Give me friendly advice
She's told me that she's not in love
But my heart is hell-bent
Because she's heaven sent
Like an angel beamed down from above

We'll still be friends
But my further hopes end
My future has hit a stone wall
As others pass by
I just don't bat an eye
On her I have gambled it all
