32

Its my Birthday today
I feel more alone than ever
A time in my life
wher I am finally
a part of a circle of life
and yet I feel
Sad
Alone
and
cold inside.
If a body has ever been born empty
like a cage without a bird,
that would be me.
As time and age become covered in dust
and my life begins to form,
to take some sort of shape,
the cage slowly becomes occupied
by my half-life
however,
this cage still stands alone.

Trust time, trust fate, trust yourself - and believe that this time next year... things will be better. Better than just 'better' - good.
I like this... and yet, I wish for you a different sort of write on your next birthday.

You have a whole new year in front of you. Enjoy it! Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday to you.

I liked this poem. I think we might be twins.Today is my birthday and I am also 32. Don't worry, things will get better for you. Just keep your head held high and try not to let things bother you. *S* Cynthia
