Hope is the one thing that holds me to this planet
Hope that I will have a bright future
Hope that I will find that very special someone
Hope that I will find a reason to live
Hope that I will feel love again
Hope that the inevitable doesn’t happen soon
Hope is what I have
Hope is all I need
Hope is what makes me want to live
I need my hope
Do you need yours?

hope does spring eternal, but many people need something tangible along with hope. man cannot live on hope alone. hope doesnt get anything done, action does. and yes to your question. =]

and on your poem, am i?, stands for this one as well. though i liked how this was more specific to you with its statements.
