Your special to me oh so special
the night i saw you i was hooked
on you, your eyes were so crystal
blue, your smile made me wanna
melt to the floor
The cutiest thing about the first
time we met was when you
bought me a shirley temple and
had Kurt come over and gave it
to me, we both turned so bright
red it was like we were apples
about to fall off the tree
When i went over to talk to you
i was so scared and nervous
i thought when you would see
me up close you would think i was
ugly and you wouldnt like me
But at the first word we said to each
other, your voice was deep and so
attracting it pulled me in, i was
hooked i couldnt keep my eyes off you
It was an amazing feeling, everything
went perfectly from there, i was so
happy that you gave me that drink,
you were different from any other guy
i had met in my life, you were to me
perfect in every way
That whole night we spent together
mostly just the two of us, it was great
everyone alwayz came and looked for
us wondering what we were doing
When i first met you i had never been
kissed or anything like that and to me
you were gonna be my first kiss, that
never happend and i wish it would, it
would of been perfect
I had only known you for three hours
but i was still in love with you, and alwayz
will be, i want you to know you can come
me for anything even though were not
together i am still here for you and i
still love you
The night we met is still crystal clear
in my head and alwayz will be for
forever more until the day i die, and
the memory of what you looked like,
and when we see each other again
maybe we will, it will be the most
perfect moment in my life and also
the happest, we will laugh about
what we did and what we said to
eachother.

| This is precious. the first love will always be remembered..mine is..after 45 years, we still talk.. he was my sister's boyfriend..older then me..but I loved him from afar LOL.. and told him three years ago. He never knew.. Now he does.. classmates.com wanted us to go on their show until they found out we had talked on the phone..doggone...that meeting will stay in your mind forever.. great poem. thanks for reminding me of my youth.. |
