What happened? You said you loved me and that this time we would last.
You even talked to me about getting married once you were out of the military.
Things did not work that way instead they spun out of control fast.
I am alone, without you and it seems scary.

You were all I have known for the past 4 years.
I love you and without you, feel a part of me has died.
How do I mend my broken heart and dry my tears?
I feel like I cant go on and all I want to do is curl up somewhere and hide.

How could we, a couple people said were perfect for each other, end?
I gave you my heart and soul.
I am trying to be strong and I am hoping my heart will mend.
It is so hard though because without you I dont feel whole

I dont understand how it got messed up.
We were suposed to be together forever.
I cant get over you and how you always made my heart "jump".
I guess instead of saying forever we should have said never.
