If life is so great
then why do i always want to end it?
If theres so much to live for
then why do I always want to die?
If so many people care
then why doesn't anybody say so?
If I matter at all
Then why do I feel like I have no purpose?
If you want me to be happy
Then why do you care if I die?

Ah breathtaking, t his is beautifully
written. The wording couldnt be better
in this expression of how so many
people feel in today's world..

| i'm gonna disagree w/ everyone here. i've read that these poems are all "breathtaking" and "beautiful". i just can't see that. i've been depressed before, and i know people who have. it's a tough road, and i agree that writing can help someone thru that. but i strongly disagree w/ encouraging cutting and suicide, and i see some of that here. i think it's great that someone can share what they write w/ others, but it's not great when other applaud suicidal tendencies, and it's not great to feel so ***** sorry for yourself. sometimes things are bad just because you want them to be. take a look at your life, it's not as bad as you may think, it's not as bad as it could be. take a look around, and you may find that all you're doing is making people feel sorry for you instead of helping yourself. |

| We're not encouraging cutting and suicide. Just because we write about it. Things aren't bad because we want them to be either. I don't WANT to feel like this. It's my fault my body doesn't produce saratonin. And I know my life could be worse but it's still sucks. I'm not trying to make people feel sorry for me by posting my poetry either. I've been writing for awhile and I can't show my stuff to anybody i know so I post it here. I don't make people feel sorry for me because I don't tell people my problems. I can see why you would think what you do but I really don't agree with you. |
