Untitled

Topic: LoveRemembered

Sit with our backs towards our homes
Forget all our problems, we're here alone

The warm spring breeze messed your hair
I studied you closely, couldn't help but stare

Though your face expressionless, it was easy to see
Why you had to show this place to me

Arriving at the exact right time
To see the peak of the suns last shine

'The sky looks onfire' I'd said to you
'Maybe it is' how I'd wished it was true

I saw splashes of red across the clouds
Like blood dripping into the night as the sun went down

The air grew colder, you held me tight
I was hypnotised by the city lights

I shed some tears, you kissed my lips
Amazing how you made me feel like this

We looked to the sky and counted the stars
The rest of the world seemed so far

We talked about an eternal life together
Keep our hearts binded forever

It was the most magical night I'd ever had
I'll never forget the things you said

Not a time in my life had I felt so loved
And felt so needed each time we hugged.
