Tears stain the pavement where the chalk outline of a lil' boy lays
Tears stain the tombs of my brothers and sisters graves
Tears stain the Bible I read for comfort when all hell breaks loose
Tears stain the heavens when God reaches out to me, but I refuse
Tears stain the sheets of the hostpital bed when doctors tell his family he'd be better off dead
And tears stain these pages as I pour out my soul, as I reminisce on the stories I told:.
