every worthless word
that you said that day
in my memory, they constantly replay
how could you leave me here
where the silence burns my ears
in this abandoned place
i am met with all my fears
how can you call yourself a father
the best i can give you is a friend
money wont buy forgiveness
or a new world of pretend
im sorry that i trusted you
and thought that you knew right from wrong
you cheated everyone you said you loved
youve been lying all along.

This is an excellent write. So heartfelt and strong.
"money wont buy forgiveness
or a new world of pretend"
^Great lines. I can relate to this poem a lot, especially in regards to those lines. |
