I’m devoured by my addiction
To my wounds self-inflicted
Newly engraved scars found on my skin
With my warm blood spilling from within
This burning sensation’s
My form of relaxation
An escape from reality
From this world it sets me free
When the cold blade meets my flesh
All my problem will soon have left
Alongside the blood spilt from within
Seeping into the cracks of my torn, broken skin
To me this pain is all that is real
The one thing I wish and long to feel

| Cutting is a common probelm....I did for 3 years....then one day I woke up and realized i had wasted so much time and blood and senseless acts such as cutting my leg or ankle.....I love the poem.....but take my advise....cutting is no way to go....after i quit i felt so good about myself.....you need to find a safer hobby....i took up running and playing bass and singing....find something that interests you and try to keep your mind off of sharp things....I still have the same major problems i did when i cut...actually i have more now.....but once i learned to cope with my feelings.....i have actually started living my life......great poem.....hope to more from you soon |

Cutting is no way to go. I used to cut for a couple of years. I don't any more now. If you need any one to talk to, just PM me.
