It’s a Lovely Day to Eat Some Worms

I was zipping down the street
When I looked down at the ground,
And I saw a little worm
Trying not to make a sound.
I’m not one to let,
The moment pass me by,
So I scooped him up,
And ate the little guy.
He was rather juicy,
With just a little bit of crunch.
And the little worm made
A great addition to my lunch.
I patted my ole stomach,
For I wished I had another,
So I started up a search,
To see if he had a brother.
That’s when I saw a fruit fly,
With all his bouncy flitter.
But I really must admit
He was a tasty critter.
Next you’ll never guess,
But a fuzzy, wuzzy ant.
Catching him was hard,
As he scampered up a plant.
Then I saw a bug
As he scurried down the street,
So I picked it up,
And enjoyed my little treat.
Well I’ve stuffed and stuffed
My little, birdy beak,
And I may not fly
At all for a whole week!

sounds like you were having fun writing this one. It's good to not be so serious sometimes, and just write for fun. I need to remind myself to do that sometimes.

| At first I thought you were this twisted person who had this thing for bugs but then I read the end of the poem and was like oh he was talking about a bir!!! Good write!! :) |
