Pixie

Topic: SadPoetry

A tiny Pixie sits upon a mushroom,
This little Pixie is filled with gloom,
As all her Pixie friends don’t understand,
After a time they all let go of her hand.

They promise her they won’t in the beginning,
Make her feel like she is finally winning,
But after a while they fade into the background,
Alone she sits with nobody around.

She cries alone there’s no-one to hear,
Her lonely heart is filled up with fear,
Fear that she isn’t nice as her friends always leave,
They say she is wonderful but that she doesn’t believe.

Why do they go & leave her all by her self?
It’s just like they have left her sat alone of her shelf,
Oh how she wishes someone would give her a cuddle,
Maybe help her out of her little muddles.

She hangs her head as alone she sits,
Heart hanging in her stomach pit,
No mores smiles will appear on her face,
All happiness has disappeared without a trace.

This little Pixie feels truly alone,
Longing to have someone’s arms to call home,
But they all walk away they leave her in the end,
All this Pixie wants is to have a few friends.

well, in my opinion, this poem talks about independence. maybe the pixie has to live life on her own for a while bcoz i do believe that friends do come and go, its up to you if you'll let them come and eventually let them go. very nice poem!!!

I like it--good inner feelings. To have one true friend is being loved. A sweet little elf sets alone on a mushroom.
Some days feeling sad and alone.
A friend comes along
Then two then ten
Let the party begin
Boom boom boom
