Those That Hear Yet Never See

Contributed by Sinned on Monday, 6th December 2004 @ 07:53:48 AM in AEST
Topic: ChristianPoetry

From out of total darkness He made light
The sun the greater
The moon the lesser
Stars and planets were set in place
From out of dust mud and clay He created life
A free will given
Created in His very image
All was good
A choice was given of good or evil
Mankind choose strife
A redeemer then promised
In the person of Emanual
God became man
His people were fed manna from heaven
To Moses He said I Am
For mankind had created a mess
I Am the Lamb of God
Man to ward of evil
The blood of the sacerfical lamb was smeared over his door
The court ask "Who do You say I am
You have said "it" not I He said
With His deciples His friends
He held up the bread
"This is My body"
He held up the cup
"This is my blood"
I Am with you until the end
Moses held a serpen up on a stake
Christ Jesus Gave us life upon a cross
The Lamb of God
"I Am"
A house devided cannot stand
Man continues on with his mistake
I Am the God of the living and not the dead
I Am talked to Moses He talks to us
The blind shall see
The death will hear
God is just and God is good
I build my house upon a hill
Peter "Who do you say "I Am"
Saint Paul said His Church is one
Peter answered "You are the God of the living not the dead"
"This is My Body" "This is My Blood"
Martin Luther broke the creed
Even he didn't want to leave
Martin even kept on honering Mary
From this split came came thousands more
Mans mistake lives indeed
"This is My Body" "This is My Blood"
No one puts a basket over a light
Listen and you will hear Look and you will see My message is but one
