The Inbetween Place

Contributed by Doriens_Picture on Monday, 6th December 2004 @ 12:57:29 AM in AEST
Topic: oops

I am stuck in the
In between place
Where all is grey
And no one feels
We all just exist
With no purpose
With simply
Nothing to do
For the duration
We are all scarred
And will not heal
We are broken
And can not mend
We are many
But are not friends
Miles of nothing
Worlds apart
We are words
Than are never
Ever expressed
We are words
In this world
The we all call
In between place
Where the soul
And the mind
Find a place to
Connect
But can not move to
The hands to be set free
Lets us out before we die
Let us out in any way
Even in the tears
That fall from you eyes
When you cry
Don’t let us kill you
From the inside

I was just thinking that so many unseen things can kill us from the inside. Stress being right at the top of the list.

I liked how you composed this one.

I didn't think of this in terms of words but rather in general - that indefiniable mass of 'grey' in which we often find ourselves wandering lost, compelling in its very formlessness. Interesting write =)
