Why do I Listen to My Heart

Contributed by Jakenstein on Sunday, 5th December 2004 @ 04:18:34 PM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

Why do I listen to my heart
Everytime I do, I get hurt
Why do I listen to my heart
Everytime I get a flirt
Why do I listen to my heart
I hate the game of Love
Why do I listen to my heart
Won't you give me a sign from above

Why do I listen to my heart
I need to find the one
Why do I listen to my heart
I need to love someone
Why do I listen to my heart
I need somone to love me back
Why do I listen to my heart
Not one that pokes my heart with a tack

Why do I listen to my heart
Everytime I think its going good
Why do I listen to my heart
Everytime I think you would
Why do I listen to my heart
Everytime I think I have you
Why do I listen to my heart
Thats when it all comes unglued

Why do I listen to my heart
I don't want to be alone forever
Why do I listen to my heart
But girls always tell me never
Why do I listen to my heart
I can't take it anymore
Why do I listen to my heart
So now I'm closing the door
Why do I listen to my heart
And if one day I re-open my heart
Why do I listen to my heart
I hope that I can get a fresh start

wonderfully sad. Your words tell me that you arent like the others that are careless and
self-centered I can relate. I have been hurt somany times I had almost given up. If you read my poems you'll no what i mean. All are about giving up. I don't want you to give up. There is someone out there for you. I know there is. (Dabs eyes)
