What happened to us?

Topic: LostLove

Please Mum
let me bring home this boy
I just want to show
How much he'll enjoy

When I rip open my shirt
and expose my chest
I'm sure he'll agree
I have two of the best

But I can't leave it there
Without one more chance to stare

Down falls the skirt
To lay beside my shirt

His eyes widen
As I broaden his horizon

Now that all is on show
It is time for this boy to go

So just you leave on a high
and on the way out,
When passing my mum
Don't forget to say bye

Now that you're gone
You won't ever come back
Cos you're afraid to face
that well known fact

You left me so awkwardly
Alone and abused
I did not blame you
For being so confused

So why did I care?
You seemed fine
I knew it was coming
It was all a matter of time

Still I refused to see
What it was,
You were trying to get through to me

I thought we would make it
I thought we'd see it through
You left me with a good bye call
I didn't even get to see the real you

So before you flee
These are my last words
Please don't forget
About me
