you tore a hole
into helpless hearts
i tried to understand
but i cant set apart
all that you have done
though i have tried
to look at you
through forgiving eyes
she makes it so hard
i keep trying to believe
its not your fault
but you lied to me
through it all
you justified your lies
with such grace
that not a single tear
ran down my face
it didnt make sense
but you went on
about a life
where i dont belong
i hope you are as happy
as i try to portray
the most synthetic of smiles
every wednesday.

Very good poem. The lines...
"though i have tried
to look at you
through forgiving eyes
she makes it so hard"
...reached me well. |

good poem indeed I enjoyed it. I don't know
who your talking about... maybe a counselor?
But I suggest you don't meet this person
again on Wednesday. Once again a great
poem.
