[i like a girl but she wont date me b/c her best friend likes me.]
I know what position you're in, I understand why you did what you did,
i'm glad your feelings have died for me, i know your her best friend.
i respect you for that, but i still had to make my move
i had to tell you how i felt, it was something i had to do
i know your friend likes me, i know that much is true
but i can't be with her, because i have feelings for you
i dont want to hurt anyones feelings, so i know what i must do
i will have to change my ways, i'll stop thinking of you
i guess this is what we call fate, since we can never be
at least i've got you as a friend, that is what matters to me
[if anyone has any advice on this subject, i would love to hear it. i dont want to give up but i dont want to hurt anyone... ]

| This is a very honest poem. You are quite a guy, wanting someone, but knowing that someone else has feelings for you, so you conceal your feelings for the other person, to keep from hurting anyone. That is very noble. I don't have any suggestions on how to remedy this situation, all I can do is wish you the best of luck. Very nice write, keep up the good work! |
