dancing across the night

Contributed by mr_shadows on Saturday, 4th December 2004 @ 07:15:08 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

my blackened angel floats through the sky,
i catch her staring at the empty world,
devouring our calloused lies.
we dance across the night,
leaving behind all but the beckoned call of euphoria.
we swallow each others agony,
and piroet in the infinate black whole of our love.
for an instant we were one,
beauty at the epitamy of epitamy,
but slowly she began to fade away,
dripping down my face like ever running tears.
i said goodbye but my pain was far too grown.
thats when i felt so wrong, so weak,
and so alone.
Come back i cried,
screaming into a forgotten void,
but she never heard,
she never will ...
now as days go by,
i sit at my window staring up,
staring up into her sky ...

come back ....
i whisper ....
come back .....
