I went down to the great garden shop,
I was looking for a flower,
which I could buy.
I saw the most beautiful flower,
it stood out from the others,
with it’s radiant smile.
A symphony of colour.
The red,
the love that I have been shown,
unfailing love,
always there when I needed it.
The blue,
a symbol of hope,
the hope that always exists
even in the darkest of times.
The yellow,
the smile,
that could carry me through anything,
the hugs,
the existance of hope.
The purple,
the lessons,
that I have been shown.
The green,
a reminder,
of where all hope does grow from.
The gold,
a sample of heaven,
shown from love,
shown in caring,
shown to me,
in you,
the flower.
I went to the worker in the field of flowers,
how much for this flower I asked,
the worker smiled sweetly,
but I knew his answer,
this flower,
the most precious of all,
was not for sale.
The perfection of the gardener,
the gardeners great love,
crafted and cared for,
by his own precious hands.
The flower was priceless,
nothing that I could ever give,
could ever pay the price,
for the greatest flower of all.
I then spoke to the gardener,
the great gardener of all,
I asked,
how much for the flower?
The gardener replied,
my flower,
my precious most cared for and loved,
my flower,
with all it’s great colours,
my flower,
which you could never afford.
My child,
I know of your need,
I give you this flower,
for your very own.
I asked for a flower,
and recieved the greatest of its kind,
I asked for a friend,
and God gave me you.
