Always Be There

Contributed by notsohyp3r__ on Saturday, 4th December 2004 @ 01:16:30 AM in AEST
Topic: oops

He meant so much to her,
She cried when he left to that whole new world,
She experienced something that I could never imagine,
I listened through her tears as she told me about her beloved Grandpa,
The Grandpa that once was in this dreadful world,
The one that she looked up to and ofcourse handed her heart to,
This young lady never expected something so heart stabbing to happen,
And when it did occur, she fell not only into her own tears, but her families as well,
I really wished I could have done something to make things all better,
But all she really needed was my friendship, my guidance, and so I prayed for her and her family,
and I gave all that I could give,
and I handed her a big part of my heart,
a big part of my life,
And trusted her not to break it,
to just hold it with her and feel safe with my heart,
And to guide her through life, through thick and thin,
Even when I am properly introduced to her Grandpa in that whole new world.
