i print out all your e-mails and i keep them by my side
inhaling all the words you've typed
i know it's just a short time that we'll have to be apart
but still it rips into my side, straight into my heart
and all i can do is wait until you're back here in my arms
so that i can protect you from the way that life can harm
i miss the way your black hair feels underneath my fingers
i tried hard to ease my mind, but in it you still linger
and i know there's only 8 days left til i can hold
you more
but 8 days is a long time and there's still so much in store
i miss the way i can talk to you when life gets hard to bear
i miss the way you'd hold me tight when life brought up its cares
and i know it's only 8 days left but how hard it is to see
that life goes on and hurts me when you're not here with me.

Awwww!!!! Heh, our poor Marisa has been struck by Cupid's unrelenting arrow. Hehe, I know how you feel, darling. These 8 days for you are like the 5 months for me. =P But, I understand. Just keep strong. And you know, when you two are finally together again, you'll cherish the time you two spend together more, ya' know? Heh, not to mention, make up for the time you two were apart *hint hint* *wink wink* *nudge nudge* Lol Just playin'. =P~~~
