It’s been just another day
At my job.
Walking around
Wishing I was
Anywhere but here.

And I’m tired.
I’d be content
To lay here all day
But I’ll get up later
Only to fall down again
Only to fall back down.

It’s been just another day
In my life.
Without a purpose
Or someone special
To share it with.
