Complexities of My Heart

Contributed by Doriens_Picture on Friday, 3rd December 2004 @ 10:28:08 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

Mingle my mouth with yours and feel like I am dying as
The toxin from the Oleanders poison takes effect
But not part my lips in this eternal kiss
I do not want to end this ephemeral bliss
But I do want to die and end this life tonight
And I would chose this death over
That of fire or ice because neither of them
Could ever compare to or describe what I am feeling now
More than twice blessed to be in love with you
But more than destroyed by the distance between us
As the old chasms in me are filled
New ones take their place
But they are sweeter and are not a burden
And still leave happiness in my soul
And a change in my face
Where a smile in now made its home
But I still feel alone
It really cannot be helped
So I hold you close from miles away
And promise you that I will not stray
This is a promise I will keep
For you life and mine and for
All eternity
