I heard you come knocking on my door.
My chilly feet hit the icy floor.
I slowly come, i see you here,
Your eyes filled with raging tears,
You pin me up against the wall,
You have no strength in you at all.
You crash to the floor and cry.
I kneel and ask you, "why?"
Your anger comes forth once again,
You are no longer my lover and friend.
You stand, grab me up, and throw me down.
I feel the tension all around.
I feel my heart inside my chest,
I did all I could, i did my best.
I cant help that you cant handle love.
How can i be with a man who pushes and shoves?
You dont know how to love someone like me.
I wish you would open up and see.
You make more threats, you look me in my eyes,
One passionate kiss, you say goodbye.
I know i will never see you again,
I guess this abuser has found his end.
You know we were never meant to be,
Because the pain speaks for me.
