REVISIT

Contributed by lemmen on Friday, 3rd December 2004 @ 04:03:36 PM in AEST
Topic: Lifepoems

To revisit the past, A going
home of sorts.
Walking the streets of your
youth.
Visiting places you haven't
seen in years.
Looking up old friends.
Seeing how everything has
change.

But you are still the same.
Remembering all the things
you wanted to gain.

Visiting your x wife and seeing
her life is worst than yours.
Isn't great.
She got five kid's and no
husband.
OH WELL.
Get out of life what you put
in. I guess she reaping her
reward of her past sins.

MY HEART CRIES FOR HER
NOT.

But it's great to be back home
again.
Looking up old friends.
Seeing how your past has
change.

Who's in jail.
Who's on parole.
Who made it in their
life.
Who's in the grave.

It's been what let's see
It's been ten It's been
ten years since I've been
here.

Faces have change.
Places have change.

It's no longer my past It's
a different place.
But it is still my home,
It's the only place I don't
feel alone.

HOLLAND, MICHIGAN.

Is the only home I ever
had?
It may have change but it
will always be apart of me.

The reason i love to read things such as this,
is the feeling i get from reading it.
So much emotion, i can really feel the pain.
x
