Shadows fill the vacant sky,
as worthy tears, shed deepened cries,
the road is walked, only to stumble,
lonely cries, unheard, less fumble,
Destitute lies, as struggles pride,
find me ..... find me ..... a nightly sigh,
echoes pass unto deaf ears,
silohettes cross, so blind with fear,
The tender child, who has no home,
must face the burglar, on the cold worn road,
alone they weep, who then should care,
so soft and pure ...... restless despair,
The very young, sweet tender child,
that shimmers beauty, yet longs to smile,
Find me ..... Find me ..... the nightly sigh,
but destitute lies, as struggles pride,
A burglar lurks, for whats exposed,
so young, so young, the face of gold,
no-one notices, the buccaneer's figure,
that long dark road, is not a giver,
Cries ...... the night can only catch,
unto deaf ears, a tender child left,
alone and helpless, to face the curves,
what human will pass, with no word heard,
Angels sweep the nightly grounds,
searching for that faintly sound,
echoes soft, and pure of pain,
the very young child, yet no-one came,
A face of gold, that shimmered beauty,
left the town, was not your duty,
who cried for love, the paper read,
a face of grace, now lies dead,
Idle tears, lie on the road,
those who past, will never know,
the velvet one ..... that nightly sigh,
was once the one, that you passed by!
