Are these the new battle currents
In a stormy sea?
The trade winds blowing hot and cold
Free or not so free?
What is the intent, the REAL intent
Behind breaking trade barriers down?
Who benefits most from this
Who wears the smile, who the frown?
Can they sell as much to US as we to THEM?
No, of course they cannot
But that’s the pretence behind the scenes
And the reason for the rot
Western markets will begin to saturate
So the planners have been thinking
We need to break out and start to sell
Raise up what has been sinking
So how do they approach all this?
Well, they must find a plausible front
Something no one can disagree with
A deception they can punt
“It’s to bring their wealth up to us.”
(lol! Oh yeah, sure!)
“It’s to enable them all to join.”
(Yeah right, of course…)
“It’s to create jobs in foreign lands.”
(Oh, how selfless!)
“And then WE can mint more coin!”
(Ah, honesty at last!)
Can you read the dollar signs behind their eyes?
The REAL motives for their action?
Just look at the markets they drool to win
Bringing stockholder satisfaction
And then there’s Bush and the Neo Cons
They need new levers to coerce
New ways to twist new arms
And new bribes through commerce
And in the direction these trade winds blow
THEY help US all the more
With cheap labour and resources too
To make our profits soar
Look out Third World, be ready for this
Corporations want you re-shaped
In the gaudy image of the West
And all the PR’s taped
Globalization, that’s the word
It’s a pretty ugly one, true
But the marketing men have got the gloss
So FACTS will be real few
Look out! You’re in their sights!
Well and truly in the frame
For them it’s all win as you’re taken in
The trade winds now a hurricane

behind every thing the US does that is
"beneficial" for other countries is merely a
farce to milk as much money from that country
as they can. I'm glad you see it a wonderful
write here.
