The tears are engulfing,
The pain is always near.
The laughter forever silenced,
And eternal is my fear.
Cause you are there,
and here no more.
Broken dreams and shattered glass,
All on the floor.
You left willingly,
I didn't make you go.
So the pain of abandonment,
I can never show.
All the things I would have done,
to have you by my side.
But now your gone, there's no one left
With whom I can confide
So I scribble little words,
on this paper that you read,
Hoping someone will take notice,
hoping one will take heed.
Thank you for loving me,
but today I let you go.
My love you keep forever,
My coive, you always know.
