WAITING

Contributed by catharinep on Thursday, 2nd December 2004 @ 11:40:47 PM in AEST
Topic: toughstuff

If you don’t wait, for what you need
And jump into the fire,
Without waiting, for that perfect sign,
It will only lead you, to trouble.

Out of signs, and wonders
You will see that, which is right.
Cast your bread, upon the waters
Will it come back, to you, or sink within.

You’ve been wandering, in the wilderness of life
Gaining knowledge, wisdom and sight.
Only to use that which is right, for
that perfect time is within your grasp.

You have only acquired,
Because you have learned,
To wait upon that which seems right.
It fits, its uniqueness, is only for you.

In your waiting, you have gained truth,
Trusting that which comes to you.
The lesson you have learned is the perfect way.
Waiting is the test, and it is,
Gold perfected in the fire, this is your prize

I hate waiting but I guess it teaches us patience over time
I liked these two lines the best

Cast your bread, upon the waters
Will it come back, to you, or sink within.

They seriously made me think
good write
