IN DAYS OF RAMBLING CASTELS
AS KINGS DID RULE THE LAND
AND WINDS WOULD CROSS THE DESERT
ON BONEY FINGERED HANDS
WHILE CARAVANS DID WANDER
THERE ONCE WERE BRICKED IN WALLS
TO KEEP OUT ALL THE EVIL DOERS
WHERE ENEMIES DID BAND
ALONE, WAS ONCE A NOBLE TROUP
WITH HOPE, WHICH LED THREIR HAND
AGAINST ALL THOSE
TO SHIFT THE POWER
TO AN EVIL WICKED MAN
AS BATTLE CAME
ALONE THEY MARCHED
TOWARD A GLORIOUS FUTURE
AS THOUGH A MASTER
BLESSED THEIR WAYS
ALL THE WOUNDS DID SUTURE
NOW, COMES THE DAY
WAR, IS DONE
I ASK, HOW MUCH THEY'VE GAINED
WITH ALL THE TORTURED METHODS
WHAT NOW, CAN BE CLAIMED?
WITH PRIDE COMES FALLS
AND PRAYER TEMPTS FATE
THE MASTER YET REMAINS
THAT OF WHICH I'M SPEAKING
A HIDEOUS DEMON, HATE
GIVEN BUT A SINGLE INCH
FOREVER TAKES A MILE
FROM THOSE THAT DID
AT ONE TIME BARE
A WELCOME, GLORIOUS SMILE
HOPE BE SPARED
STEP HARD AWAY THE DISTANCE
FOR SUCH HAS RUINED
THE LOVE, AND DREAMS
OF THOSE WHICH HELD A SMILE
SO, HERE WE HAVE A STORY
POSSIBLY A DREAM
BECOME THAT WHICH YOU'RE LIVING
WE'LL HAVE THAT WHICH THERE SEEMS
A WORLD FULL OF DIFFERANCES
PROBLEMS EVERY TURN
QUESTIONS WITHOUT ANSWERS
A SORDID PLACE TO BURN
SEND HATE AWAY, AND QUICKLY
WITH LOVE AND WISDOM SHARE
THAT WHICH IS A BLESSING
TO EVER GUIDE OUR CARE
SHARE WITH THOSE AROUND YOU
THE HONEST, OPEN YOU
YOU'LL FIND YOUR LIFE IS JOYFULL
JUST TRY, IT CAN COME TRUE...
