Trees are bare
Branches reaching as if to grab
Here it is ths second of december
Skelton fingers ready to nab
A small finch still hanging around
A big o'l bluejay on the ground
Squriles scurry for a tree
Mans best friend along side of me
Walking trails that curve and twist
Freckles leash tugging at my wrist
I enjoy the freshness of the air
Morning dew and weather fair
Down a hill through some reeds
Leaving muddy tracks for others to see
Freckles sniffing at the ground
I listening for natures sound
I take this treck most everyday
It gives me pause to listen and pray
Be silent be still
Time to listen to His will

Great poem. Like the line "skeleton fingers ready to nab". A few spelling errors, but otherwise great write. |

Now, I like this entirely and can't disagree with a thing except some of your spelling. You took me to that place and, yes, that would be my quiet time with the Lord as well.
