Though I may not have written,
this you must know.
With you I am smitten,
And you’re with me wherever I go.
I may not write,
as often as I should,
but, I hope you know,
I’d steal away with you,
if only I could.
If into me you could see,
And know my everything
You’d find out how much you mean to me
And how much happiness you bring.
When it comes to you,
here is what is true—
My heart is not much stronger,
than a single bead of dew,
that clings to the morning grass,
waiting till the wind blows through.
Each day I vow, I’ll be strong,
If your heart I were to lose.
Knowing that, though it’s wrong,
I pray it’s me you choose.
Each moment I yearn to see your face,
To fill my emptiness,
Each day I seek your embrace,
and long for your caress.
I think of you bout every turn,
you’re in my every dream,
It is your love for which I yearn,
though we’re apart so much it seems.
And so, on goes life,
dealing with this daily strife,
so real and yet pretending.
hoping to our love
there is no tragic ending.
So my love,
know my thoughts are of you,
no matter what I put you through.
That my desire is to be together,
And long that it be forever.

Such a loving warm heart felt write. I liked it so much I printed out to showe my wife and how I feel about her Thanks for writing such a beautiful poem.
