was a good day
it was on the day
i fell in love with you
it was a good day
and i remember
i thought i'd never have
the chance again so soon
it was sunday

didn't see how i'd get past
what i'd been through.
but on that sunday afternoon
you came and stole away my blues
i will always think of you
and the way you put that smile back on my face
on that sunday .

we held each other and slow danced under the moon.

if you remember
you promised you'd never change your heart.

we remembered
we'd celebrate the day when we first met

and i remember
the day you died it tore me all apart
thought some how He'd bring you back to me
can't believe that this was really real.
not on sunday
it was our day
we always set aside every sunday for ourselves.
sunday was a good day
it's still a good day
He sent me some way to remember you
i named her Sunday, too.
she will remember
we'll remember
we'll always remember
