Love Of My Life

Contributed by Doriens_Picture on Thursday, 2nd December 2004 @ 12:47:27 AM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

I want nothing more in this life

Than to hold you in my arms and feel your warmth

And to forever have you like I do now

As you rest your head on my welcoming chest

Trusting me entirely have you fall asleep

As I lay there finding heaven in the way you breathe

Then fall asleep hours later and have you my princess

Wake me with a kiss and then look into your eyes

And be in a dream that is far better than those I have when I sleep

As your lips then cast a spell on me bewitching and consuming me

Finding its way through my many chasms into my soul

Feeling your hands swim through my hair I become whole

Then take you in my strong arms and carry you to our bed

Lay you down then kiss you again from your lips to your toes

And sweetly kiss everything in between then back to your lips as my hands

Travel eagerly looking for something that they need

Over satin soft alabaster like skin that loves my every caress

Silk has never had such a pleasure as this that I take so sweetly from you

Now as carefully as the first time as I slowly part your legs with mine

And yours melt when they feel mine moving them apart

So much that they give in to the motion of mine as I slowly lean my weight onto you

As we find a way to escape this world in each others eyes

Eyes that do not want to be filled with hurt but yours still start to cry

As I feel you eagerly thrust your pelvis with all your want

And feel your counter movements that give our love the qualities of a dance

A dance that we can never tire of because it consumes us whole

Makes us want for it with all mind body and soul

Then you take your place on top of me and kiss my tired desperate brow

I fall in love with you again looking into your deep eyes and at your beautiful face

As your hair covers my head like an overcastting sky and your eyes the brightest stars

And I find all the beauty and Pease this world has to offer in you

You are now and will always be the love of my life
