Knowing That Here And Now, I Failed.

Contributed by deadreckoning1983 on Wednesday, 1st December 2004 @ 10:40:24 PM in AEST
Topic: MiscPoems

These old fingers just won't work tonight.
My brain is rotted out, just for today.
Nothing comes to mind to write,
No love, no hate, nothing and nothing.
An endless sea of ravings and madness,
Lost under a sky of senselessness.
I wander thru thoughts and meanings, waiting for responses.
This is the thing I hate most,
Wanting it to come out of you, a million miles an hour;
But it won't, it refuses to be controlled.
Sifting thru my day, I find nothing of interest.
Not to write with, just for reflection.
This is the only way to conquer it though,
To write, to let it pass.
Later on though, you'll see,
I will have created something to envy,
And you'll be sorry you neglected to bother with this dribble.
Because you won't know about the masterpeice to come.

Little flows from your pen Dean, that is less than exceptional. This included.

Hope the block has been lifted.

That author's note made me laugh:)

So, at what point while writing this did you realize you were in fact, writing? Us writers are tough on ourselves...Are we all emotional spazzes? Yes! Yes, we are. How great is that ending...It stings, but I thought you were a crab? :)
