When you wish upon a star
It does not work, the stars too far
It cannot hear your yelps and screams
No knowledge of the devils schemes
When you wish upon a candle
The dream too big for them to handle
They get afraid and run away
Hopes and dreams, the flames betray
When you wish upon a penny
Choose one hope out of many
Wish with your all that it will turn out
But its false hope; what its all about
When you wish upon the Father
Hes too busy to even bother
He has other promises to be fulfilled
He says he'll try but he never will
But when you wish upon my love
Certainly a devotion to be proud of
Anything you ask of, wish or hope for
I'll give it to you plus something more
Id give you the stars as well as the moon
Id give you the morning and the afternoon
If I must search for eternity, I certainly will do
Honestly and simply because I really love you

| sorry to be rude, but the Father shouldn't be talked down to like that. He's the greatest thing in my life. The only stable thing I have. Its cool if you don't believe or have faith in him, but please don't say that he doesn't listen. He does listen, but sometimes the outcome is ironic, it is right tho, but not always what you want. Think about that next time you talk about God. |

| great idea and great poem...I think you have the right to say what you want about "the father"....not all people are religious or believe in god...its your opinion and no one should be able to tell you what to think.....anyways great write keep it up... |

Everyone are intitled to thier oppinon.
I want force my thoughts-n-beliefs on anyone but this is good writing altho u could have been talking a bout your Earthly father and not your heavenly father.
Either way keep writing.
