Cold Death

Contributed by DesolantDreamer on Wednesday, 1st December 2004 @ 04:13:40 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

Dark, the world is dark and cold,
With all the happiness deprived.
What is to be of this second hell?
The tears of a girl
The evil is winning.
It is a deadly game
No one ever caring that the good is dying.
Horrible. A girl crying in the dark.
No one will listen, too concerned with themselves to care.
Another death.
I weep. I cry for the lost child that met her horrible end.
I alone. They pretend that they care, but tomorrow, it’ll be forgotten.
They will all forget that little girl that died trying to stop the evil from spreading.
I won’t, I care.
My tears will be the only ones shed for the orphan girl.
I cry. This world, this living hell they call home, is not my home.
I truly am lost, I want to go home. I need a real home to go to.
