A Lovers Plea

Contributed by Smooth on Monday, 25th November 2002 @ 12:00:00 AM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

Listen to your strength, pound within your soul,
Listen to your heart my friend, it's rhythm and it's goal.
Listen to the song, singing from within,
Listen to your hopes, surviving once again.

Listen to your dreams, the colors of their cry's,
Can you hear the difference? Between the truths and lies?
Listen very carefully, listen to my birth,
Listen to my silence roar, screaming out it's worth.

Listen to the love I bear, listen to my pain,
Listen as I sacrifice knowing what I'll gain.
Listen to forever, for eternity to spin,
Listen my dear love, listen as we win.

Smooth

Listen to forever, for eternity to spin,
Listen my dear love, listen as we win.

These are my favorite lines from this poem. I can feel the intensity of your desires. You write so beautifully, straight from your heart. The talent you have for writing is rare and beautiful, I fall in love all over again everytime I read your words.

Always,
me
