Forever, Hope

Topic: LovePoetry

She looked out across the sky, seeking his soul, seeking the sharer of her very spirit, seeking the one who touched her heart. She longs to touch him, to feel his gentle lips carress her neck, to smell his scent, to hold him fiercely, and never let go. Her angelic wings way heavy as she remembers his words, his voice. Day by day, night by night, her desire grows as she watches him go about his daily routine. She sees the sadness in his eyes, the sadness that comes to realize, it is for her.
She cries.
How can something so beautiful not be right, how can something be so strong yet make her so vulnerable? She trembles. She will spend eternity holding him in her heart, she will spend eternity loving him. And who's to say? Things change. And perhaps someday she will hold him again as they walk through misty fields of jasmine sweet, and whispering clouds of honest love. She thinks of how he would make her laugh, her eyes close and she smiles.

Not a day goes by that he does not look towards her, seeking her in the stars above. There is a coldness in his soul that is warmed only by thoughts of her, and an emptiness filled only by her smile and her touch. Her voice is the food for his spirit, and her song carries his faith of their kindered bond across the winds of time. He feels her gaze and is embarrassed by the sadness in his soul, he tries so hard to hide it.
He cries.
His faith shall never waiver, his hope shall never die. He will hold her in his heart forever, he will love her until the end of time. He knows that she is the sharer of his soul, and the keeper of his heart, they are connected and his love for her can only grow. She is his oxygen, she is... his everything. He thinks of her laughter, his eyes close, and
he smiles.

What a beautiful piece of writing. I hope that you share this kind of love in real life and that she's not really an angel in heaven. Nevertheless, I loved the way you matched the two stories, from different points of view, but with similar wording. Loved it.
