Invisible Girl

Topic: SongLyrics

your leaving me alone,
i dont want to be that way,
i dont want to be that person left behind,
the last to know,
the last to find,

never greeted with your affection,
left to struggle without direction,
where do i go now?
i cannot disapear,
i cannot pretend im not even here,

ive gone without love for so long,
and i dont know where to find,
someone like me, someone different,
someone to show me the extrovert within my mind,

to help me see that im worth while,
to help me see that i can be whatever i want,
and tell me my aspirations arnt to high,
and to reach for my goals or they'll pass me by,
tell me that i can be,
a part of everyones destiny,
and that i am not invisible,
and to show me that girl will one day be free,
to show the world
i wont stay a nobody...

I used to be that invisible girl. I'm different because I obey the rules but I don't conform to everyone else's style in the process. I am now a senior in high school for the second time(do your homework, it really does make a difference) and I carry a stuffed animal to school with me evry single day. I am literally the only one in my school who does this. I didn't do it to be different but simply because I love stuffed animals. I'm not hated and I'm not loved by all but I'm not invisible anymore. It's the little things that matter. Just be yourself spontaneously in a predictable way. If you like to wear bows and pigtails in your hair but everyone else thinks it's childish...who cares? Be yourself and you can't go wrong. There's no better time to start than now. Any questions o r thoughts on this? I'll be glad to read and respond.
