Under clear blue
Hearing, but not hearing
Wanting to be alone
And yet, not
Wanting the calm
But loving the frenzy
Caught between
Black and white
Black and white
Day and night
Here and then
Contradictions nonetheless
Anger, pain
Outcast, nothing
Can’t you let me be?
Let me be what I can be?
Let me alone!
Don’t you see?
