I took a lot out of me to let myself love you...
To open my heart up one more time,
Only to have it torn once more.
You didn't know that I'd been hurt so bad before...
That I've lost the will to trust again.
You did mean to hurt me,
Hurt me with your goodbyes,
Hurt me with your cheating...
Wasn't it good enough I loved only you?
The pain of it all is so hard to deal with most days,
How I can never be with anyone again, never the way it was...
I used to be able to be myself,
Now I'm too scared that I'll be left...
Nothing I do is good enough,
You all have to do this to me again and again...
I'm not your play thing,
I will not be used,
I will not be abused...
Because I will never love again.

love is worth a lot to some and worth little to others.
