An open window and A closed door

Show me the world in 24 hours, I'll show you my eyes if you do the same, I'll hold you before the moon for heaven's sake, As long as you love me again.....

Heather, the red-headed stepchild for all accounts. Wont amount to much they said. With eyes that break glass and lies that take fast action-reaction can't have a takeback. And laidback I was just playing it cool, schoolyardin' and acting a fool, we were just kids and I knew I loved you. The days grew longer as we grew up and times were hard then, your dad's fist just couldn't get enough and I took the red-eye allnite for lateral altitude to take flight. Vision altered, your halter-top would be on the floor soon as adolescense knocked on the door. And by the hour of four you had warscars that told morescars were all in store. I was young as you, but you had seen the world enough for two. Still young at heart though, you sparked a keen art flow and as time grew on you could lift your darkheart with style remanesent of Vincent Vangogh. Though we had parted we still kept close, and letters I wrote you brightened your hope. In time our love would be innocent again...but until that day your brush and this pen.

Alexander Pope ~ "How blameless are the vestal's lot, the world's forgetting by the worlds forgot, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, each prayer accepted each wish resigned."

This was more of a hip-hop meter tell me what you think.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
