In Such Small Time

When I look into your eyes
I see my own
My heart flutters
At how you’ve grown

From a little baby
I held in my hand
Then overnight
Into a little man

You’ve captured my heart
My spirit and mind
You’ve done this all
In such small time

You remind me of me
I see myself in you
When I look at your face
And your eyes of blue

You’ve made me something
I’ve always dreamed I’d be
The proud father
Of his family tree
