as i stare back into time
i see myself near sublime
i see a picture of me with a happy face
beside me stands her, in all her grace
All the way back
to the seventh grade
every other memory except her
has begun to fade
we were so happy then
as we walked hand in hand
Always together
off in our own land
now I am nothing
but a welcomed phone call
she has moved on
while i have had to fall
i miss her more than many will know
i tell her i love her and when she tries
i tell her 'no, dont say so'
because to me it would be a lie
how i miss Elaine......
