I open my blinds and see the dark
Life seems to be oh so stark
My heart bleeds a shade of turmoil
Here to sleep and there to toil
And thus I bled
And tears of naught I shall shed
Only to see this translucent life
Through the watery, teary eyes of strife
If not for naught for this
Then thus shall be for a kiss
A heart made of stone
Shall forever be alone
And if one is always alone
Will two follow it all the way home?
Will three and four go to the door
And let in five just to bring more
With more numbers about
Is one of them filled with clout
Just becuase people are arround
Does that person truly feel found
People may cry
Yet not know why
Their lives seem to fail
And thus sorrow shall trail
To the end we ride
Never to run or hide
Me, and my one and only fellow
My lonely self, and my shadow
