I Am….Part 1
I have seen the spirits you cannot see.
I have been to places you should never be.
I was made to listen things you needn’t hear.
I was made to bear things one should never bear.
I have the knowledge of that you don’t know.
I have the power to show things I needn’t show.
I have feelings you will never feel.
I have herbs that can heal.
I have the sharp arrow that is made to kill.
I make those sick that deserve to be ill.
I took them when their time came.
I made him walk he who is lame.
I chant ancient saying I should not chant.
I sow things I should not plant.
I am with the woman in strife.
Creeping softly, I am life.
Shining bright like the stars above.
Flying so free, I am Love.
I take you away in just one breath.
Riding upon my tall black horse, I am Death.
Part 2
I am the leaf falling from the tree.
I am the blind who still can see.
I am the heart that skips a beat.
I am the child forlorn with defeat.
I am the man who is a loner.
I stand by the side of an organ donor.
I watch as a mother bears a newborn child.
I am the wind blowing free and wild.
I am the time that rushes by.
I am the small child beginning to cry.
I am the woman’s last breath.
Taking her lifeless hand, I am Death.
Strong & bright like the Sun above.
Careless and free, I am Love.
I am the teenager with the knife.
Slipping slowly by, I am Life.
Part 3
I am the snow upon the ground.
I am lost but never found.
I am far yet still so near.
I am deaf but still can hear
I am the trees engulfed in fire.
I am the eagles soaring higher and higher.
I am the still and tranquil lake.
I am the give that you take.
I am the weak and the proud.
I am the silence that is so loud.
I am different yet the same.
I am the child with no name.
I am the sick and the well.
I am both Heaven and Hell.
I am the small white dove.
Soaring high, I am Love.
I am the man’s dying wife.
Moving quickly by, I am Life.
I am there when they take their last breath.
Silently waiting, I am Death.
