The Eyes

Contributed by kisser89 on Monday, 29th November 2004 @ 06:28:17 PM in AEST
Topic: Suicide

The shots ring out
Cries are heard
Blood mixed with tears stains the tee-shirt
The eyes close
Prayers await answers
Darkness takes over
Silence falls
Hope is lost
Disbelief
Nothing
Void
A bright light spills through the darkness
The eyes slowly open
Hope reappears
The eyes search the familiar faces
Prayers of thanks are whispered
They then see what they almost gave up
what they almost lost for an eternity
love
A love that they didn’t know surrounded them
The owner
The teen
Had almost took away everything that mattered
The young teen had almost stolen their own life
Why?
Many reasons
Too many
Life
Hate
Love
Death
Who knows but the cycle of eternity exists with these facts
Some can be helped
And some can be saved
But none can be avoided
