untitled

Topic: Lifepoems

***
another walk down memory lane
another reflection in the mirror
shiny objects lying on the floor
echoes of dispair coming from downstairs
childhood dreams washed away
no more fairytales to believe in
its all over and done with
faced with the knowledge
of knowing that not everything is what it seems
having to accept the truth
of what lies before me
as you hold this knife to my throat
why dont you think about what you are doing
why is my pain
your pleasure?
why am i not allowed to be happy?
you wont always be able to control me
i'll prove you wrong in the end
im not what you think i am
im stronger on the inside
i can overcome all of this
in the long run
those ridicules will work to my advantage
i will succeed........................
with or without your help
